War Crime in Bangladesh -71,ICTA-73

War Crimes in Bangladesh in 1971,ICTA-73

During  9 months in 1971  Pakistani Armies and their associates Jamaat & its student organisation Shibir - Rajaker committed war crimes like killing innocent civilians, women, children, rape,Arson and looting.

In Feb 1972 Bangladesh Government announced plan to put hundreds of pakistani senior Army officials on trial for crime of genocide.Indian Army had 93000 Pakistanis prisoner of war in their custody. 195 senior Pakistani army officials were convicted and sententenced. ? Our Bangladesh Goverment was  new born, didn't have enough resources, logistics to keep them here. They were released  under SIMLA agreement in July 1972.

In SIMLA agreement although it was tri-national but it mainly preserved the interest of India & Pakistan --If you look at the SIMLAagreement as follows

--"-1,i) That the principles and purposes off charter of the UNshall govern the relations between the countries. ii)the two countries are resolved to settle their differences by peaceful means through bilateral negotiations or by any other peaceful means mutualy agreed upon between them, pending the final settlement of any of yhe problems between the two countries, neither shall unilateraly alter the situation, and both shall prevent the organisation, assistances or encouragement of any act detrimental to the maintence of peaceful, harmonious relations, iii) That the pre-requisite for reconcilliation good-neighbourlinessand durable peace between them is a commitment by both countries to peaceful co-existance,respect for each other's territorial integrity and soverignty & non interference in each other internal affairs,iv) That the basic issues and causes of conflict which have bedevilled the relations between the two countries of the last 25 yrs shall be resolved by peaceful means. v) That they shall always respect each others each other national unity, territorial integrity, political independence and soverign equality.II- Both govt. will take all steps within their power to prevent hostile propaganda directed against each other.  i)Step shall be taken all steps to resume communications, postal ,telegraphic ,sea, land including border posts.ii)Appropriate steps shall be taken to promote travel facilities for the nationals of the country ,iii) Trade &co-operation in economic and other agreed field will be resumed, iv) Exchange in the fields of science and culture will be promoted.IV) In order to initiate the process of establishment of durable peace, both  Governments agree that : i) Indian & Pakistani forces shall be with drawn to their of the international border : ii) In Jammu and Kashmir, the line of control resulting from the cease-fire of December 17,1971."

So where is  Bangladesh interests in SIMLA agreement  & why  and under whose instuction those Pakistani high officials were realesed  free even though their Crime were proven & convicted.

Then 2nd-- Collaborators tribunal in 1972-- for the local collaborators RAZAKAR (,Jamat & its associates Shibir). Bangladesh Govt  arrested 100,000 Zamat-Shibir activist under IWCTA-73 .Handful of criminals, about  752 were found guilty with clear evidence of crime against humanity , like Killing inocent civilians , women, children, Rape, Arson , Looting &sentenced .Rest of the suspected criminals were pardoned even before trial & released free. Who gave the then Govt authority to pardon those War criminals. I think only 3 million who were killed  3 lac women who were raped ,75 million Bangladeshi who were the victim directly or indirectly only can decide  war criminal's fate .After killing Banga-Bondhu Sheik Muzibur Rahman in 1975, the IWCTA73 was dissolved by next Government and all the convicted Criminals were realeased.

Those Razakar has already established in this country both politicaly and economicaly. Some of the top Criminals even became minister and had Bangladeshi flag in their car in a Country they didn't want and even does not want to recognise now. Some of  our freedom fighter, are still begging in the street passing days without food, dying without treatments and medicine seeing Razaker rulling the country .Millions living with pain ,seeing Razaker established in this coutry. Some already died with pain.

Our new projonmo has risen up now in " Shahbag Chottor",I salute you all the bloggers for uniting our entire generation. We can see hope now, I feel our dream will come true in establishing a' Fair, Free, equal oportunity" Bangladesh for everybody. Zamat does not recognise peoples power, they don't recognise our Constitutions.Zamat  shouldn't have any right to run legaly here. They shouldn't have any right  to live in this country as a 1st class Citizen. with equal oportunity.I  can see that dream will come true ,we have to go a long way with a united voice.
