Islam does not support violence,hostility,hatred,discrimination,communal disharmony.Islam has spread though Knowledge,Justice and peace.Islam means achieving peace by submitting one's will to Almighty "Allah" .It promotes peace universal brotherhood among people.It is very unfortunate, some so called Muslims attacking, killing innocent people including fellow Muslims in the name of establishing their own political ideology rather then the principles of Islamic teaching.Our Holy Qur'an says "killing innocent people is equal to kill all mankind and saving a life is equal to save all mankind (Sura Al-Maidah-5:30).
Mawlana Moudodi was born in Hyderabad ,India in 1903 .He was one of the descendants of Khwaja Qutb ad-din Mawdud al-Chishti.His father studied Law, later gave up as it was not Islamic .His father died when he was 17, and he began to earn his living as an accountant. He died in USA & buried in Pakistan in 1979.His first book holy war in Islam was published in '1927'. He founded Jamaat-e-Islami in 1940.
No Islamic scholars has ever taken any interest in politics or thought of revolution. They have guided people to the right course of thought,knowledge and advice.They all have known that Islam would spread through knowledge ,justice & morales, on the other hand Mawlana Moudodi always departed from Islamic Scholars & knowledge and spread his revolutionary ideas. Reading his books or listening his speech gives us a sense of feeling that he was disseminating his own thought in the name of Islam. It is important to note that Saudi religious authority banned some of his books with extremist ideology.Muslims Schools of law ,Islamic scholars said" his writing are controversial & contrary to Islamic principle of Muslim school of Law".
Prominent Islamic Ulema late Sayyed Abdul Hasan Ali Nadwi came under close contact with Mawlana Moudodi in 1940& joined Jamaat ,but left the party in 1943.Mawlana Nadwi wrote a book
"Understanding &Explaining religion in contemporary Age".In his book he wrote "Mawlana Moudodi allegedly misinterpreted Central Islamic Beliefs in order to suit his own political agenda".He accuses Mawlana Moudodi of wrongly equating the Islamic duty of establishing religion with the setting of Islamic State with 'Allah 'as sovereign & law maker. He says at Moudodi's hand "Allah'"' the sustainer religion & worship all been reduced to political concept".
Mawlana Nadwi asserted "That Moudodi argued that 'Allah had sent Prophets to the world charged with a mission of establishing an 'Islamic State' was a misleading of the Islamic concept of Prophethood.The principle work of the prophets Maulana Nadwi argued was to preach the worship of one "God" and exhort other to do good deeds".( ref:'Asr-I-Hazir Mai admin Ki Tahfim-o-at shrink,1980"by Mawlana Nadwi.).
Mawlama Moudodi denounced Pakistan's independence in 1947 & described Jinnah's vision as Kafir and evil.These are the statements made by Mawlana Moudodi during Pakistan creation in 1947.
1)"The establishment and birth of Pakistan is equivalent to the birth of a beast"
2)"Muhammad Ali Jinnah is the founder of fool's paradise."
3)"Pakistan is filled with millions of robbers,thieves,murderer,wrongdoers,adulterers"
4) "Muhammad Ali Jinnah's place is not on the Thorne of leadership.He deserves to face trial as a traitor."
5)"It is haram to vote for the Muslim League."
you can easily judge who is he what he wants from those comments similar comments were made by Jamaat during Bangladesh Independence in 1971.
After years of strong opposition towards the creation of Pakistan ,Mawlala Moudodi made a 180 degree flip & embrace Pakistan,Jinnah's democracy and moved to Pakistan in 1948 from India.He always opposed successive Government and their policies. He was sentenced to death in 1953 for racial violence that killed 500,000 people in Pakistan. Later that sentence was reduced and subsequently released.
Jamaat-e-Islami took part in the 1970 election for the first time since the creation in 1940.They won 4 seats out of 300 seats in national assembly. Jamaat strongly opposed an Independent Bangladesh which considered it as against islam .They spread the propaganda campaign that
1)',these are the act of ' kafir,
2)'this is an act of infidel and going to be an infidel state'.
3) 'These is the act of India and going to be an Indian state'.
similar way they criticised during the creation of Jinnah's Pakistan.
Along with Pakistan army they have committed genocide ,war crime by killing innocent civilian,children & women,rape,arson,looting during 1971.
Son of Mawlana Moudodi Dr.Haider Farooq Moududi also an Islamic Scholar in Pakistan said 'Jamaat conducted massive destruction,slaughtering of innocent people,rape of women by creating organisation like 'Razaker'Al-badar' in 1971.According to him 'JI is the mother of all terrorism.'
I should mention here what The Great Muslim Scholars of India of every Muslim school of Law congregated at Jamiyyat al -'Ulema' in Delhi on (August , 1, 1951) and reached the conclusion that Moudodi & his Jamaat-e-islami caused the destruction and deviation of Muslims and published this fatwa----
"A certain group in the Muslim world prpagandize Muhammad Abduh,Moudodi Sayyid Qutb's ideas which are against Al-Islam , as if they were of ingenuity.They introduce their rebellious ideas as a struggle of heroism.Lest the pure youngsters should fall for these tricky propagandas and false appraisals.These are Moudodi's own words, which are incompatible with Islam's basic teaching."
There are few Islamic party in Bangladesh other then Jamaat - e-islam.We should not confuse them all as Jamaat. We have Islamic Scholars, they should come out to the media and spread real religious Islamic teaching so that our youngsters adopt the spirit of our beloved Prophet Mohammad (Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).Muslim who loves our Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi wa sallam should avoid reading controversial literature.

They are spreading the propanda campaign same way that did in 1947, 1971, now 2013 about Shahbag Moncho . Crimes were commited in 1971 asking for justice is not against Islam.There are some people questioning the Tribunal,sometimes same saying Bangabondhu purdoned them already, or saying these people were in big post after 71',studying at the universities,or there are false evidence against them,or they are not the same people . They are showing they want trial but does not belief from heart. Injustice done from the birth of the nation ,we should funish this matter once and for all & move forward.40 yrs gone ,should nor delay further otherwise injustice will continue to happen.
