Impunity encouraging Criminals to commit more crimes in Bangladesh , Dr Golam Sarwar

1971' war Criminals were free until two years ago. Collaborators tribunal in 1972-- for the local collaborators RAZAKAR (,Jamat & its associates Shibir). Bangladesh Govt  arrested 100,000 Zamat-Shibir activist under IWCTA-73 .Handful of criminals,about  752 were found guilty with clear evidence of crime against humanity , like Killing inocent civilians , women, children, Rape, Arson , Looting .Rest of the suspected criminals were pardoned even before trial & released free. Who recommended to pardon those War criminals? I think only 3 million who were killed  3 lac women who were raped ,75 millions of Bangladeshi who were the victim directly or indirectly only can decide  war criminal's fate .After killing Banga-Bondhu in 1975, the IWCTA73 was dissolved by next Government and all the convicted Criminals were realeased free.

We have seen these War Criminals not only roaming freely some of them became the Ministers who refused this country's existence in the name of Islam.

Prophet Muhammad SAW  recommended to apply the Quranic values of peace, Justice, freedom & Al-Shura or consultation equivalent to modern conept of democracy both in his life and as a ruller of Islamic state. Prophet Muhammad SAW 's Islam  came when worldwide injustice by the  tribal rullers  and  operating through mechanism of Shura (Consultation) --supported by the principle of --1)Rule of Law , 2) Justice for all, 3) Equality and human dignity , 4) Accountability.

Unfortunately very hardline (Hanbali  now exist in Saudi Arabia, Taliban, Qatar) Salafi Islamic movement initiated in Saudi Arabia in 1745AD by Muhammad IBN -Al Wahhab (1703-1792).Their followers  are trying to spread Violence for the purpose of power grabbing."Mawlana Moudodi allegedly misinterpreted Central Islamic Beliefs in order to suit his own political agenda founded Jamaat-E-Islam in 1940 similar in line with Salafi / Wahhabi movement in Saudi Arabia both these contradict Prophet Muhammad SAW's Islam. These violent, criminals groups are terrorising ,killing innocent ,burning children,civilian women in the name of Islam to go into power.Current level of violence/crimes  is a reminder for our new  Generation, what type of crimes / atrocities committed by Jamaat  in 1971'.

If we look around the world we can witness all the Muslim countries are in trouble. Fanatics Disgruntled,psychologicaly imbalance so called  Muslims killing fellow muslims, Bombing their mosque.In Syria Salafist fighter removed  the heart from a Syrian soldier and ate it in public. In Bangladesh Maudodi  Jamaat /Shibir throwing petrol bomb in to public busses burning innocent, children alive. Hundreds already burnt to death and growing number of atrocities carried out by these bandits.

Using Religion for political gain around the world  is  not uncommon.  In India by BJP used religion  against Muslims,Crusade by Christian against muslims, Buddist Monk  cleansing Muslim minorities from Burma, again in Bangladesh by Fanatics psychologicaly disturbed  Jamaat killing fellow Muslims in Bangladesh ,Pakistan.   Wahhabi/Salafist killing fellow muslims by suicide Bomb in Iraq,Syria,Afganistan,Somalia,and other muslim countries.So Innocent ,Decent ,Muslims remain the target  at all the times in around the world.

killing & terrorising of  Innocent people are because of "Culture of Impunity".They remain at large because our political system remain corrupt  and  political killing ,murder of one after another  from the birth  of this nation. Political parties  were formed over  time since its independence .Corrupting and arming younth /student, creating Muscleman, Politicisation of security,Judiciary, Government Bureaucrats, dictatorial power of leaderships without  accountability, destroyed  the democratic back-bone of all institutions. These are the reasons now Jamaat are committing  their heinous  crimes sometimes under the protection of some political Party.

71'  war crime trial is essential to end Impunity , ensure accountability and for the sake  of victims right and to heal country's scar & discourage further crime. Foreign countries who sheltering some of these  convicted criminals should also  help to extradite them to face justice  in Baangladesh where they committed heinous crimes. Otherwise crimes against Humanity will continue as criminals can escape Justice easily by taking asylum in another country.

We have heard Jamaat collecting Donation from Expatriate Bangladeshi to continue their , Heinous Crimes like , Funding for Firebomb, Cocktail, buying weapons to kill and burn  children, innocent ,women while travelling  by Bus .I will ask every decent citizen , ask your conscience, morale, before donating  money to this terrorist group. Anyone funding ,promoting  ,patronising ,and supporting these violence are criminals  and  equally   liable for these  heinous crime.  Again Prophet Muhammad SAW's Quranic Islam does not have any room for these Terrorist. These are the act of  sick, mentally &   psychologically disturbed, imbalance, people who are  committing these crimes for their own political purpose, nothing to do with  the religion.
