Shahbag Chattor '13

It is encouraging that our new generation gathering in Shahbag Chattor .Now the nation has a breathing space that murder rape, warcrime will not go unpunish in Bangladesh. We can see not only Zamat-Shibir ,there are so called intellectuals, lawyer,Politicians who were not speaking about the tribunal before ,now asking to dissolve the tribunal and asking for a new Tribunal  in the name of  international standard questioning our Judiciary.

We have to point out here that  in 71'crimes were committed by 2 groups ,one Pakistani military 2nd Bangladeshi 's  Zamat & it's subsidiaries (collaborators). The war crime & laws of war were formulated in 'The Hague  conventions' , but first  Nuremberg trials in 1945,The Tokyo trial 1946.After 2nd WW there were lots of war crime commited in different conflicts but unfortunately majority cases there were no tribunals, not even proposed by UN. I am not going to argue for fair trial for war crime committed by big Power ,we know they can escape Justice. We will not let go unpunished for the war crime committed by our small people Razakar'.

UN knows very well that Crimes were committed in 71' in Bangladesh . The 1972 collaborators Act ,designed to procecute local Collaborators for their crime. Some were procecuted  majority were freed .However in 1975 new Govt. Repealed 'The Collaborators Act 72'  and released remaining Criminals.Whole nation today asking for proper justice ,our politician should act accordingly. It is not up to the politicians  to decide rather they should listen  to the people, that's what our constitution says.

Govt should initiate that process. This is happening now after 41 years ,we welcome and it is never late to procecute those Criminals who committed crimes. Our youngstars  risen up along them the whole nation now with them.I think message is clear to Razaker & it's associates that You cannot escape Justice for your crimes .This is sending a message to our Politicians, it's subsidiaries, Govt. officials that time has come to build a Bangladeh our forefather fought for.We want Justice in all aspect of life,no one will go unpunished for their misdeed.
